This is a list of books which I consider very helpful for someone attempting to come to understand which side of the Battle for the Core they should be on (the side that doesn't refuse to acknowledge . Those books with red backgrounds are essential reading for everyone at some point, especially for full participation in the worldwide discussion.
Of course I have mixed in books from both perspectives...to advocate academic freedom to be retarded if you want....The real reason is that I believe that Aquinas was correct when he said
that we should attempt to strengthen our opponent's position as much as possible and in this way we can once again check up what they have to say against our own thoughts. If the 'opponent' offers a fallacious argument, you should try to improve upon it and give it as charitable read as possible...for believe it or not...you may not know everything...
On both sides of the ideology battle, pointing out weak points and then walking away satisfied that you have somehow beaten your opponent is not a sign of good reasoning.

- I have created three levels of books related to philosophy: Beginners, Intermediate and In Depth.
- There is also a section under construction for theological and vocation related books which I have found helpful.
- Feel free to leave your own personal review of a book in the comments section. Simply identify the name of the book you are commenting on, when you read it and what you got out of it. Comments not following this structure will be removed.

This book gives a clear introduction to why science cannot be the only form of knowledge. It is written by a Thomistic physicist of the best type.
