Questions and comments are welcome and encouraged. Just post your question as a comment below (either anonymously or not) and I will try to answer it as best I can and if I find it relevant enough, I will create a special post for it as "Q:..". I, the administrator and author of this blog, reserve the right to moderate any discussions or debates on this site, and may delete comments that I deem inappropriate or mean spirited.
Just a few guidelines:
- If you have a question or comment about a specific post, please use the comment box at the bottom of that post, so that our comments stay together on a single thread.
- If you wish to ask a question or challenge me on an issue that is not covered in a particular post, or that may begin a fruitful discussion of its own. Or if your comment may warrant a new post as a starting point for further discussion, please post in the comments section on THIS PAGE. This is the space for open questioning and friendly debate.
- If you are non-Catholic, or have opposing views, don't be afraid to ask questions, but know that I work full-time and most often I will not be able to engage in a full length debate on an issue, so don't be offended.
- Anonymous posts are welcome. I don't need to know your name to answer a question.
- As questions are addressed I may periodically clear the old comments to make way for new posts. But I will collect any meaningful exchanges and post them as a blog entry for others to read and learn from.
Jon - would you do me a favor, and update your blogroll to link to my new address for Acts of the Apostasy? I'm over at Wordpress now -

How do I get email addresses for board members? Thanks, Judy Cozzens
ReplyDeleteJudy, I've been told that Serra's policy is does not allow for giving out board emails but if you want to contact them we can give your address to them...
DeleteWhy would you delete comments that foster honest dialog about Regnum Christi and the Legionaries of Christ? Shutting down discussion just seems to confirm a cult-like need to suppress honesty about things we might wish to keep hidden. You've just made things worse for the Legion. Jane
ReplyDeleteJane,
DeleteI removed the comments because I have experienced this flavor of discussion before and I know how time consuming and fruitless it can be, and second because I said in my last comment before yours that I would do so. I was concerned about the matter before I went to Cheshire and participated in the discussions...I know how it can be. The post was intended to be a piece of news information rather than a discussion about "malformed sons". That is not to say I deny your experience, I would just like to maintain a focus that benefits the Church. Perhaps another blog? Try Regain... If you consider this cult-like, then classrooms, the military,---our government is cult-like...er..wait.
If you would like to discuss the matter by email, I would be glad to. However, I don't want to main topic on the post to become about whether a group in the Church is from hell or heaven because it creates a cloud over both my blog and over something I see as very good...so maybe I'm being dictatorial...but then again you don't have to participate if you don't want to.
I have opened the post again for comments which are on the topic of the post.
DeleteHi John. James from Biltrix here. I just wanted to let you know that for some reason your last comment on my blog got directed to my spam folder. I don't know why that happened, but it has happened a couple of time in the past. Your comment is there now, and I responded to it: HERE. Of course, your comments are always welcome on my blog. God bless!
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me about the photo that's on the left side of your web-header? Is it a photo, or a still from a movie? What's it taken from? Do you know the date/time/place? It's a fascinating picture and I'd like to know more about it.
ReplyDeleteThe photo is from the Cathedral in Prague after World War II destroyed it... For me it symbolizes the perseverance of the Church even through the modernism it is experiencing...
