Have you ever wondered what it would be like to hear the sisters who are battling Rome tell you the story of Vatican II and the great change which blew through the Church?
Enjoy. Try not to laugh too hard.
Play Video.
I feel sorry for some of these ladies who really believed they were doing what the Church asked them to do (out of obedience--Minute 1:00), because in many instances the Church officials themselves were confused. But where the train gets derailed is when the sisters became so convinced that 5 minutes later in the video, the sisters talk about how the Church is now asking them to do it "conservative Rome's way" (6:56), but this time they flaunt it as virtuous NOT to obey, but rather to defend feminism in the face of the evil patriachry which doesn't care about peace, hope and social justice.
Secular Humanism advocates social justice, hope, peace and love.
Catholics advocate that and then some, including a supernatural reality that isn't even mentioned.
Some Catholics are indistinguishable today, and I would say the sisters in the above trailer are examples. Doing good works in the name of good works is not Christianity.
