Making Moral Choices
The exercise of conscience begins with outright opposition to laws and other policies that violate human life. Those who knowingly, willingly, and directly support public policies or legislation that undermine fundamental moral principles cooperate with evil. Voting in this way would be permissible only for grave moral reasons, not to advance partisan preferenc

In making these decisions, it is essential to recognize that all issues do not carry the same moral weight and that the moral obligation to oppose intrinsically evil acts has a special claim on our consciences and our actions.
A candidate’s position on a single issue that involves an “intrinsic evil”, such as abortion, may legitimately lead a voter to disqualify a candidate from receiving support. A well-formed Christian conscience does not permit one to vote for a political program which contradicts the fundamental contents of faith and morals.
There are some things we must never do, as individuals or as a society, because they are always incompatible with love of God and neighbor. These are called “intrinsically evil” actions. They must always be rejected and opposed and must never be supported or condoned. It is a mistake with grave moral consequences to treat the destruction of innocent human life merely as a matter of individual choice.
The Right to Life and the Dignity of the Human Person
Human dignity is respected and the common good is fostered only if human rights are protected and basic responsibilities are met. Every human being has a right to life, the fundamental right that makes all other rights possible. The right to exercise religious freedom publicly and privately by individuals and institutions, along with freedom of conscience, need to be constantly defended. In a fundamental way, the right to free expression of religious beliefs protects all other rights.
Abortion, the deliberate killing of a human being before birth, is never morally acceptable and must always be opposed.

Bishops don't tell you how to vote, they tell you how to vote morally. A=B and B=C... so what does A equal? This isn't a hard one folks. Look at the last line fo the letter.
As for me, I'm almost secretly hoping Obama gets elected again so he continues to draw the atheist humanists out of the Catholic Church by ticking off the bishops.
